On Friday, Kerby Joseph enjoyed a little fun at the Detroit Lions’ training complex following their training session. Joseph handed out t-shirts of Brian Branch sticking his middle fingers up to the Green Bay Packers fans from last Sunday.
As everyone knows, the officials ejected Branch from the game following a fierce hit on Green Bay’s Bo Melton. Branch protested the decision with the on-field referees but to no avail. Branch duly lashed out, flipping off the Lambeau Field faithful.
Amidst the chaos and the furore of the Packers faithful, Kerby Joseph stole his teammate’s thunder with a game-changing pick-six. The safety duo certainly experienced an eventful day at Lambeau Field.
While the Alabama product apologised for his actions, it tickled his fellow teammate. Joseph arrived in a black ski mask, with a bag full of shirts for every player.

New arrival and former Green Bay Packer Za’Darius Smith posted a photo of his shirt on his Instagram story. While some may find Joseph and Branch’s actions distasteful, they underline how much these Lions have embraced Brad Holmes’s ‘Villains’ mantra.
However, Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch will have to forget the Packers soon. The Texans are an excellent team, with young star CJ Stroud as the quarterback. While Joseph and Branch have played well so far, defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn believes they can get better:
“Those two guys are doing a hell of a job for us, and the thing is, they’re not even close to where they’re going to be. And, when I talk about that, that’s just understanding the game as they get older and the things we’re trying to do with them technically that they have to do a better job at.”
Joseph and Branch must be at their best on Sunday night against Houston.
