Detroit Lions vs. San Francisco 49ers: Final Injury Designations

The Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers have released their final injury reports before their Monday Night Football matchup.

In a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship game, the Lions return to San Francisco for retribution. And Dan Campbell’s team is getting healthier.

Lions Injury Report and Roster Moves

The Detroit Lions’ injury report is remarkably short. Running Back David Montgomery and Wide Receiver/Returner Kalif Raymond are out.

The big positive is veteran Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin is on the comeback. The experienced defender is questionable but has had a whole week of training.

Rookie Terrion Arnold participated fully in Saturday’s training session after dealing with an illness earlier this week. The Alabama product is off the injury report and ready to go on Monday night.

And lastly, veteran lineman Graham Glasgow looks set to return to the lineup. Glasgow missed Detroit’s win over the Chicago Bears but has participated fully at practice and will replace rookie Christian Mahogany.

The Lions have signed defensive back Morice Norris to the active roster and Kwon Alexander to the practice squad.

    49ers Injury Report

The 49ers have endured significant injury problems all season, which have not subsided ahead of this game.

Linemen Aaron Banks and Spencer Burford are out of Monday night’s game. Dre Greenlaw and Robert Beal are also out.

San Francisco’s offensive line issues don’t stop at Banks and Burford. Colton McKivitz is questionable, and Charvarius Ward, Tatum Bethune, and Ji’Ayir Brown join McKivitz in being questionable.

Kyle Shanahan’s team’s main problem is on the offensive line. Injuries have decimated that unit. A patchwork unit could take the field against the Lions.
